We beliece that
worshiping God and the study of His Word should be part of our
everyday lives. We invite you to worship with us on Sunday mornings
as we gather between 9:30 and 10:30 for Sunday school and from 10:30
till 11:45 for our worship service. During the week, small groups
meet in various homes . On two Wednesday evenings each month, the
youth meet for a Bible study. On the other two Wednesday evenings
they meet for game night.
It is our desire to have
you know God personally - to know how much He cares for you, and to
accept His overwhelming generosity to you through His son, Jesus
Christ. It is His arms that reach out to you today, to hold you and
embrace you in His incredible love. Jesus is God's gift, and it is
through Him alone that each of us can experience the joy of being
forgiven. It is our prayer that this joy will be yours.
The church tries to live
in obedience to the Word of God--the Bible. We believe that God's
spirit (Holy Spirit) helps the community of believers understand
that Word. The life and teachings of Jesus as recorded in the Bible
help in interpreting the meaning of the "Old Testament" part of the
Bible: "For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is
laid, which is Jesus Christ" (I Corinthians 3:11) The Holy Spirit
uses the written Word to give new life to the church and to help
people grow in faith.
