Dr.
Ben Witherington, professor of New Testament studies
at Asbury Seminary wrote a great overview of the
the
Origin of the English
Bible.
It's definitely worth reading. I'm amazed at the
number of Christians who know very little about
their Bible - the
translation
and canonization of scripture - and yet feel so
strongly about the accuracy of one translation versus
another. What is happening to
Sola scriptura?
What Bible translation do you prefer? Why?
